Houses in Astrology
When it comes to natal or birth charts, we refer to the astrological houses. The Zodiac wheel, which is like a snapshot of the heavens exactly at a person’s moment of birth, is divided into twelve sectors, which are called houses.
These twelve sections are related to different areas of life: money, work, social relations, etc., and these houses are in turn influenced by the planets that occupy them.
In astrology, if the planets are the energy at play, and the signs of the zodiac act as these energies, the astrological houses where these energies are at play, in other words, which part of the person receives the influences of both the sign and the planet.
Where do these twelve houses come from?
Astrology divides the celestial sphere by its meridian in two halves, and the horizon in two others.

The First House: Addresses a person's character, self, customs, constitution, and physical appearance.
The Second House: It speaks of material possessions and talents that you have.
The Third House: It informs us of our way of thinking, our mental abilities, and the way we express ourselves and communicate with others.
The Fourth House: It deals with family issues, in other words, with the genes, the development, and growth of an individual, and his or her experiences in the parental home.
The Fifth House: Refers to a person’s sexual and sensual life, their vitality, and their sexual and romantic relationships.
The Sixth House: It tells us of the individual’s health and work environment, as well as a series of mental blocks this person is not aware of.
The Seventh House: It tells us of inter-personal relationships: both in marriage and relationships with partners, or any other type, even in the professional area.
The Eighth House: You win some, you lose some, in other words, it tells us about life and death, earnings and losses.
The Ninth House: It tells us of religious aspects and higher learning. It also refers to long journeys.
The Tenth House: It reports on the position that will be reached in society, the honors, the vocational guidance of a person towards a work environment and the profession itself.
The Eleventh House: It bears a relationship with helping others and the environment. It tells us of partnerships and especially friends.
The Twelfth House: It is a somewhat difficult house, as it refers to problems, trial sentences, diseases, and enemies.
