Since ancient times coins have been used to make decisions or divine the future.
Aside from their purchasing value, they also have a value in helping man with relevant decisions about his future.
The first thing is to select the appropriate coins. It really does not matter what metal they are made of or if they’re currency that’s in use –although ancient coins are preferred. It is very important that whichever coins we do select be kept in a special place where they remain untouched except for the divination ritual.
Once the coins have been picked, they must be cleaned
of negative vibrations. There are several methods for this, including rubbing them with laurel for five days or placing them under running water for three minutes and then set them under the sun to dry from noon to dusk.
As in any divination ritual, a quiet and tranquil environment is needed to allow for maximum concentration.
A specific and precise question is formulated, and then – depending on the consultation – one, two or three coins are thrown.
If only one coin is thrown, according to traditional interpretation, heads means Yes and tails means No.
If two coins are flipped, then there are three possible results:
Two heads means a very definite Yes (or a very positive result).
One head and one tail is a less precise result – and another question must be asked. (This is an indifferent result).
Two tails is a very definite No (or a very negative result).
Finally, if three coins are flipped, then the following are the different interpretations:
Three heads: This is a very positive result, but with the possibility of a sudden, unexpected change.
Two heads: A very fortunate result. A very definite Yes.
One head: A very unfavorable sign. It is a very definite No.
If no heads come out, this is a sign of bad, but short-lived misfortune. It is a No – but with sudden, unexpected change.
One other easy way to use divination with coins is by building a board with three concentric circles. One of them will be marked “Yes”, the other “No” and the third “Maybe”.
A clear and precise question is made out loud and a coin is thrown in the air, with the intention of it landing on the circles. The interpretation is made according to the landing of the coin.
If the coin lands three consecutive times outside the limits of the circles, then a different question must be made or the consultation must be left for another time, when concentration is better.
