Geomancy

Geomancy involves divination by use of earth. A handful of soil is thrown onto the floor or on top of a table to observe future events told by the lines and shapes formed.

Another way of practicing it was to draw lines or circles whose disposition was believed to show what was wished for. Depending on the disposition of these shapes the divination was made.
