bulletIncense

Incense is a scented purifier in the form of smoke. There are different ways to burn incense.

Since the dawn of civilization, there has been evidence of the use of incense to worship the gods. The incense smoke rises to the highest plane, where the gods are. Today, we also have clear examples of how it is used in the dominant religions or beliefs. For example, in the Christian religion, incense is burned at large commemorative celebrations.

There are also testimonies that bear witness to the use of these fumes for the healing of different patients. From doctors in the Muslim empire of the Middle Ages, to the Eastern healers who have used this medium for their therapies.

It is also used in a multitude of relaxation and meditation exercises. Depending on the scent that is given off, there are those that are better suited to these ends or not.

The use of incense in magic rituals is also undisputed. There are many spells and recipes which involve the burning of essences, plants, and oils so their smoke purifies the place or makes a wish come true.

We must be very careful when we choose the scent of our incense. Obviously, the effect that we seek will depend not only on the scent, but it will be a vital part of the process.
