Ritual to Keep Positive Energy at Home
To avoid absorbing negative energies at home, place above the front door of your house, a cross made with two twigs from a tree. Tie them together with white string or thread, and paint the twigs white.
At the center of this cross, place a blade or sprig of wheat, which will be left to dry, and below the sprig, place a green ribbon, plus a red, a blue, and a yellow one. Never wash these ribbons. If the ribbons deteriorate and you wish to replace them, do not wash them, but rather put in some new ones on June 24th, the day of Saint John, or the first day of the year.
If you wish to protect the floor on which you live, and also happen to have a business, place a cross without paint next to the painted one. Tie three cloves of garlic to the center of the cross and a natural fern branch that will not be changed.
