The High Priestess or Popess:

The High Priestess symbolizes the subconscious and contains the secrets of the kingdom.

While The Magician represents male power, we may safely say that The High Priestess is its female counterpart, who balances his forces.

Women in certain cultures are still a mystery, and this card represents this mystery.

This card seeks to reach what is hidden and rid us of superficiality.

It may also indicate that certain goals may be achieved in the querent’s life, without even expecting them, in an improvised way,  especially when it comes to goals connected to the querent’s love life.

It may also indicate that it is valid to rely on intuition, and that the querent may have revelations through dreams.

If it is right-side-up, it stands for wisdom, knowledge, intuition for problem solving, memory, inspiration, great wealth of ideals.
